Dr. Bill Sims

Pastor

Dr. Sims is a husband, father, grandfather, and Pastor who loves preaching GOD’S Holy Word. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Nancy, who he has known since they were in the church nursery together. Dr. Sims and Nancy have two blessed adult children and three precious grandchildren.

Dr. Sims received his Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Psychology from Union University, Jackson, TN., a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, New Orleans, LA. He has served as a senior Pastor since 1986. He also has served as an adjunct/guest lecturer at Belmont College and Blue Mountain College with an emphasis on preaching and evangelism. He has also been a contributor for Lifeway publications.

Dr. Sims believes that the Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and inexhaustible Word of GOD. He believes that the gift of salvation is available to all. He believes in the death, burial and resurrection of our LORD and Savior.

In his spare time, Dr. Sims enjoys spending time with his family, yard work, being active outdoors and reading. His life verse is
