The vision of Sunnyside Baptist Church Children’s Ministry is to partner with parents in guiding their children into a personal relationship with Christ and actively disciple them to carry out God’s mission for their lives, which ultimately results in others coming to Christ.
From the moment your child enters, we will strive to connect your child(ren) in age-appropriate, engaging, scriptural teaching.
We know that children learn best in safe and secure surroundings. We also understand that parents can relax when their children are well cared for and safe. We believe in protecting children with an uncompromising safety/security process.
Our Kids’ Ministry works hard to have trained adults who come alongside you in your child’s spiritual growth weekly. We are here for you, cheering you on as you lead your child to love and follow Jesus!

GROW Kids 2025/2026
It’s time for GROW Kids 2025-2026. This is our mid-week program where we have Bible lesson, Bible Scripture Memorization, Worship, Outreach Focus and Game Time for children age 2 through 5th grade. We follow the Sullivan County School schedule.

Creation Crawler
Sunnyside Baptist Church's GLO Puppet Ministry is dimming the lights for two performances on Sunday, September 14 at 3pm and 6pm featuring an all new glow-in-the-dark puppet show musical, Creation Crawler. This theatrical performance is packed with a fun musical score, amazing puppetry, and dazzling neon colors. This one-of-a-kind show is a must see for the fall 2025. The underwater glow-in-the-dark adventure to the bottom of the sea is the perfect fall entertainment for families.

Join us for the morning on the McMullins’ Farm on Saturday, October 25 from noon-2pm. You MUST pre-register for this event.

Candy Palooza 2025
Join us for this exciting event on October 31, 2025 from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Our GLO Puppet Ministry will perform at 6:30pm with an exciting all black-light Gospel message that’s sure to bless you followed by lots and lots of candy treats! You won’t want to miss this exciting evening. Everything is all inside, so weather will not be a deterrent.
