The vision of Sunnyside Baptist Church Children’s Ministry is to partner with parents in guiding their children into a personal relationship with Christ and actively disciple them to carry out God’s mission for their lives, which ultimately results in others coming to Christ.
From the moment your child enters, we will strive to connect your child(ren) in age-appropriate, engaging, scriptural teaching.
We know that children learn best in safe and secure surroundings. We also understand that parents can relax when their children are well cared for and safe. We believe in protecting children with an uncompromising safety/security process.
Our Kids’ Ministry works hard to have trained adults who come alongside you in your child’s spiritual growth weekly. We are here for you, cheering you on as you lead your child to love and follow Jesus!

GROW Kids 2025/2026
It’s time for GROW Kids 2025-2026. This is our mid-week program where we have Bible lesson, Bible Scripture Memorization, Worship, Outreach Focus and Game Time for children age 2 through 5th grade. We follow the Sullivan County School schedule.

Join us for a heartwarming Christmas play presented by GLO Puppet Ministry on Sunday, November 30 at 6:00 PM at Sunnyside Baptist Church. Come enjoy an evening filled with laughter, music, and the true message of Christmas as the puppets bring “The Light on Main Street” to life! Bring your family and friends for this joyful celebration of Jesus—the Light of the world!

A Donkey, a Sheep, and the Savior
Join us on Sunday, December 7, at 6:00 PM at Sunnyside Baptist Church for a joyful night of Christmas celebration! The Children’s Ministry presents “A Donkey, A Sheep, and the Savior” — a heartwarming story told through music, laughter, and the eyes of the stable animals. Featuring the children of Sunnyside, the GLO Puppet Ministry, and a very special guest, this is a night your whole family won’t want to miss!

Happy Birthday, Jesus Party!
Come celebrate the true reason for the season at our Birthday Party for Jesus on Friday, December 12, from 6:00–7:30 PM! We’ll have an evening full of joy with inflatables, “One Holy Night” Putt-Putt, cake and ice cream, and special moments to honor Jesus—the greatest gift of all! Kids and families are invited to bring a small donation for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering as a birthday gift for Jesus, helping share His love around the world. It’s going to be a night filled with laughter, worship, and celebration as we remember that Christmas is all about Him!
