The vision of Sunnyside Baptist Church Children’s Ministry is to partner with parents in guiding their children into a personal relationship with Christ and actively disciple them to carry out God’s mission for their lives, which ultimately results in others coming to Christ.
From the moment your child enters, we will strive to connect your child(ren) in age-appropriate, engaging, scriptural teaching.
We know that children learn best in safe and secure surroundings. We also understand that parents can relax when their children are well cared for and safe. We believe in protecting children with an uncompromising safety/security process.
Our Kids’ Ministry works hard to have trained adults who come alongside you in your child’s spiritual growth weekly. We are here for you, cheering you on as you lead your child to love and follow Jesus!

GROW Kids 2026/2027
It’s time for GROW Kids 2026-2027. This is our mid-week program where we have Bible lesson, Bible Scripture Memorization, Worship, Outreach Focus and Game Time for children age 2 through 5th grade. We follow the Sullivan County School schedule.

Beginning May 27 • 8 Weeks of Wild, Wacky, Wet & Wonderful Fun!Each week includes Bible time, worship, games, and exciting activities.
Please bring each week:
Old clothes and shoes that can get stained
Swimming goggles (Dollar Tree works great!)
A towel
Consider covering your car seat with a towel or trash bag

Volunteer with Sunnyside Kids
Whether you assist with check-in, help out in AWANA, nursery, or help with our fun events, serving with Sunnyside Kids will be a fun and rewarding experience. We have a variety of opportunities to allow you to use your gifts and talents. Join the team!
